Till six months, babies are either on Breastmilk or infant formula. But after six months, the real challenge starts. Most of the babies are fussy eaters, and feeding them is a big task. When it comes to the growth of the babies there nutritional needs also increase with time, and hence choosing the right food with perfect texture and consistency is always a difficult task for Parents.

According to AAP(American Academy of Pediatrics), vegetables are a perfect choice when you are ready to introduce solid foods to your infant diet. When the baby becomes 6 months old, it is tough to decide the infant food items. But when it comes to carrots, it offers a range of benefits to babies.

Carrots are an excellent source of beta-carotene, which turns into vitamin A in the body. Vitamin A aids your baby’s eyes. Carrots also promote a healthy immune system and contain phytochemicals that may protect against heart disease and certain cancers. Additionally, carrots are rich in fiber, which helps your infant have healthy bowel movements, notes Brown. Carrots also contain iron, calcium, and vitamin C. Carrots are cheap and readily available in the market.
