BYJU’s is hiring: Community Engagement Specialist

We’re looking for a community engagement specialist who can help scale engagement on our social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, helping build brand love and relationships with our audience. You’ll be working on various platforms to engage with our audience directly by responding to comments on our posts and engaging with what others share.

About the Company: BYJU’S is India’s largest ed-tech company and the creator of India’s most loved school learning app which offers highly adaptive, engaging and effective learning programs for students in LKG, UKG, classes 1 -12 (K-12) and competitive exams like JEE, NEET and IAS. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Respond promptly to audience comments and queries according to moderation guidelines set by the social media team
• Ensure all responses are aligned with the social media campaigns, marketing strategy, and brand narrative
• Monitor brand mentions and conversations about the brand on social channels.
• Listen and engage in relevant social discussion about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing customers and leads and from brand new audiences that don’t yet know us. 
• Plan and implement a cohesive strategy to combat negative responses 
• Prepare an evergreen crisis communications to plan to roll out when needed
• Ideate, scout for content formats that will serve to engage the audience better, increasing shareability and virality of posts
• Keep a close check on audience sentiment and propose content that is relatable ergo viral

Skills/Expertise:

• Excellent writing & secondary research skills, impeccable grammar
• Social finesse to delicately and artfully handle all kinds of comments
• 0-1 years of hands-on experience with social media management for brands and using social listening tools
